Simply one of the best, if not the best, cottage in which we have ever stayed in the last 50 years! A lovely place, extremely well equipped, a warm welcome from a most gracious and friendly, helpful host, and in a beautiful setting. We would recommend Ashpit Cottage to friends, relatives and indeed to anyone who appreciates peace and quiet whilst in a beautiful part of the country with its many attractions so nearby.

Undoubtedly the best cottage we have stayed in. Dorothy was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was beautiful and the quality of furnishings and fittings was superb. We will be back again next year.

10 minute drive to Pickering for all your needs. Feels like a home from home. Dorothy is friendly, helpful and a warm host. The 'Welcome Pack' is definitely welcome. Have stayed in this cottage and The Long House before and will certainly be returning.
