In a great location overlooking the river with well kept gardens. Plenty of pubs, cafes and shops. Great walks from the door. However conservatory was too cold to use so had nowhere we could eat our meals as dining table in the conservatory. Bed mattress super soft so if you prefer a harder mattress this bed is not for you. Most disappointing thing was the apartment was dirty in some areas but nothing that a proper clean wouldn't sort out. The landlords were very quick at responding to the problem with the door lock and heating.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; May we apologise the Garden Rooms was not perfect for your stay. As you stayed during the week we had snow, in hindsight we should have moved the table into the lounge. The bed is brand new and the mattress is recommended for hotels so may we apologise you found the mattress too soft. I am concerned you found the apartment dirty as all cottages are thoroughly cleaned between guests. We have told the cleaning company that this is unacceptable and will monitor future cleaning. Thank you for your kind comments relating to the location and how we quickly responded to your problems. Sorry once again and we hope you still enjoyed your holiday.
