Absence of an enclosed private outside space makes it very difficult to stay there with a dog. Cottage far too small - and inappropriately appointed - to accommodate two dogs on a regular basis; local walks are very muddy and people and dogs enter directly into living room - coir matting is not a suitable floor covering as it cannot be washed. 'Professional' cleaners are only as good as the direction and supervision they are given and I did not find it satisfactory: smeared cutlery in crummy drawers, stained mugs etc. Bathroom and bedroom were clean. The property does have a certain charm and I'm sure when it was first presented to the market it was an attractive holiday venue but it is showing the signs of serious wear and under investment. sorry!

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments. We welcome feedback and take on board the points about the cutlery and draw. Unfortunately, I am unable to check every detail of the cottage after it has been professionally cleaned for every new guest. However, if there is an issue where something has been over looked, we are more than happy to address the problem directly there and then. We always introduce ourselves to our guests and are around and about so there is plenty of opportunity for any queries or complaints to be sorted out. Regarding the size of the cottage, it is very small - It is as described. Many visitors have been happy to share the space with their larger pets, but obviously this does impact on the internal space available. There are many beautiful walks directly from the doorstep, but in wetter weather visitors will want their wellies and to be prepared with dog towels to keep the cottage clean for themselves. The outside space is not enclosed and not suitable to leave a dog unattended outside, unless it is tied up.
