A pet friendly property ideal for couples and is part of the historic buildings of Cerne Abbey, formed as a Benedictine House in 987 AD.

Puddletown, Tolpuddle and Thomas Hardy’s picturesque Piddle Valley are within easy reach. Travelling further afield are miles of sandy beaches and some of Dorset’s Jurassic coastline. I am going back next month, so that tells you how much I liked it. It is an idyllic, tiny house in a brilliant location and the owners are as kind and helpful as can be.

Prefect location but the cottage was a bit too old fashion for us, the equipment and seats were old and very uncomfortable and the downstairs very small. Unfortunately we weren't able to get wifi all week but to be fair the owners did inform us of this on arrival. The village with its pubs was very nice and it was an ideal base for getting out and about. The owners were very friendly and left a nice bottle of wine for us on arrival.

We have stayed in this cottage about 12 or 14 times and will definitely return; it is like home from home to us.

We had a wonderful mid week break here. The cottage was beautiful and the surroundings were so peaceful. Lots to see and do locally, the dog thought she was in heaven. Couldn't fault it, it was simply perfect.
