Other places of interest include The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, historic Arundel with castle, cathedral and various shops, and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, ideal for bird-watchers. Brighton is perfect for a family day out, boasting the decadent Royal Pavilion, art galleries, theatres and Sea Life Museum, plus seaside entertainment. All ages catered for, from the lovely pool, beautiful garden, spacious well catered for accommodation, with wifi, tvs in most rooms, aga in kitchen, lovely sized bedrooms, tie that in with the fantastic location, 300 yards from the beach, 500 yards from pub and shops. Also Liz the caretaker was more than helpful. Family would not hesitate to go again. July 2011.
  7. Chanctonbury is an absolutely lovely property and the online photos simply do not do it justice! The garden is beautifully maintained, well equipped & an excellent size for a large family. The private swimming pool is small but perfectly adequate and beautifully decorated and situated at the bottom of the garden in a separate building. The house itself is absolutely stunning with plenty of space for the family to spread out without feeling on top of each other and is well equipped with televisions with ipod docks and beautiful period features. The caretaker, Liz, is wonderfully helpful and also available for any problems. Overall an excellent property and well worth the money! July 2011.
  8. Excellent location. It’s very quiet and yet everything is within a 5 minute walk - beach, pub, restaurants and shops. House is spacious and very well equipped. Very friendly welcome and the owners are very helpful should you need them. Cannot think of anything substantial to improve it. June 2011.

We were the first guests to occupy this house and found the information left for us to be superb.The location means you do not have to travel far to visit numerous and varied attractions.The swimming pool was well maintained and inviting and the conservatory amazing.There is no shaver point for electric razors. April 2011.
