"A truly magical estate to escape to and unwind..."

Webbery Manor Estate is a historic Saxon manor listed in the Domesday Book, high in the hills above the Taw and Torridge estuaries. Set in 30 acres of parkland and woods, with grazing sheep, deer, owls, pheasant, birds of prey and other wildlife. On clear, sunny days you can see Exmoor and Lundy Island. Delightful gardens have specimen trees, and rhododendrons, and the walled kitchen gardens have complimentary seasonal produce.
For that touch of elegance, this first floor apartment Cutcliffe Chambers, sleeping 4 is sited on the side of an internal light tower. The charming sitting/dining room has period Regency style furniture, grand piano and views towards Exmoor. The luxury doesn’t stop there, the double bed has period brass bedstead, and the twin bedroom has period French beds. Make sure you take the time to explore the wonderful gardens and try your hand at a game of tennis on the shared court.
The sea is never far away with long sandy beaches at Instow, Woolacombe and Saunton all easily reached. Bideford is excellent for a day out, with its working quays and heritage museum. We had a most wonderful holiday at Cutcliffe Chambers - the property was charming and in an idyllic setting. The property was well equipped and tastefully decorated, in an English country house style, to a high standard with the added bonus of a grand piano. We met the owner Kate who was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again sometime in the near future.

This is no ordinary Cottage rental. The Grounds, kitchen gardens and in particular the finishing touches to the rooms is a labour of love - not a commercial enterprise. Excellent !

This was a great place to stay and our hosts could not have been kinder or more welcoming. We were delighted that the grand piano worked and was reasonably in tune-this was great for rainy days. Guests were able to make full use of the tennis court and grounds, and even had free access to fesh fruit and vegetables growing in the walled gardens. Highly recommended

Kevin and Katie were excellent hosts -caring helpful and informative. The coach house is beautifully furnished, however , both being tall we found the brass becdstead a little uncomfortable. We would also have welcomed a fixed shower.
