This is a fabulous cottage in the middle of the Devon countryside. It is ideal if you want dome peace and quiet with the option to visit the many beautiful areas of Devon which are close by. You do need transport if you decide to stay here. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable. There is a large living area , kitchen and dining area downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a huge extremely comfortable bed and a TV. Again there is everything you need for storage and comfort. The bathroom has a really good shower and a bath, again fantastic . There is a garden at the rear with garden furniture, a small barbecue and lawns. The owners are lovely people who are pleased to welcome you to their property. They are very friendly but not intrusive. There are two other properties if you have a larger group that want to stay close together . Overall I would definitely recommend this property if you want a quiet, very comfortable break in Devon with the option to visit many of the beautiful places around Both Devon and North Cornwall.

This is a very good cottage with very helpful but not overbearing owners. The cottage is a very nice and well kept retreat for 2 people. Since we are not both fully able bodied it was, perhaps, a slightly poor choice for us (our fault). The low (but huge!) bed was very comfortable but not so easy to get out of. The step down to go to the bathroom was a particular worry for my wife in the night. Otherwise the level of fitting out was very good with a real double shower that works first time!

We had a lovely relaxing break. We would have liked to have walked or biked from the cottage, but weather was not so good. However I'm sure in the summer months the cottage would tick all our boxes. We would go back, bed is amazing .
