Property Description

This stylish, modern mews house lies in a quiet lane in the heart of Broadstairs, 250 yards from the beach - perfect for families or small groups. This lively seaside town, packed with history, has an impressive array of restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours within a 5-minute walk. Its thriving events calendar includes a famous Folk Week, Food Festival and Dickens Festival. A favourite haunt of the Victorian novelist, Broadstairs also boasts Bleak House and the Dickens House Museum. In summer, the town’s beautiful Seven Sandy Bays host Punch and Judy shows by day and firework displays over the harbour by night. Golf, coastal walks and surfing locally. Shops 500 yards, pub 100 yards.

  2. The property is very well located within Broadstairs just a couple of minutes walk from the beach at Viking Bay with all its family friendly facilities. There was plenty of room in the house for the five of us, and it was very well equipped for a family holiday. Thoughtful touches included the provision of local Ordnance Survey maps and leaflets on local attractions, which were very useful when we were exploring the area. The undercover parking at the property was very handy, especially when raining! As we were staying during the Diamond Jubilee the owners had put bunting up and left some wine and Jubilee biscuits which was a really nice welcome for us. The property is just off Albion Street with all of its restaurants so there is plenty of choice when considering somewhere to dine. We particularly enjoyed the local Greek, Thai and Italian restaurants. All of us, including our five year old, had a fantastic holiday at Harbour Mews, and we would certainly consider staying here again at such a lovely property in an excellent seaside location.   5. Lovely location and beautiful house, like a 5 star hotel! Had a fantastic mezze at the Greek restaurant, just a few mins walk from the house. Beach wonderful and kids loved looking at the rock pools when tide out. All in all a very successful half term. Thank you. Oct 2011.
