We enjoyed a lovely week exploring a part of the country that we had often passed through, but never stayed. There were plenty of places to enjoy, though we probably had to do a bit more driving to reach them than we have needed to do in other places we have been for a holiday. The accommodation was lovely and Allison and Dean made us, including our two dogs, very welcome. They were very helpful, no matter what time of the day we sought assistance. We would strongly recommend the accommodation.

The most lovely location. Beautifully equipped, comfortable cottage with its own doggy walk. Very impressed with cleanliness. The little bin outside the cottage, and also on the walk itself for poo bags etc. was exceptionally thoughtful. Our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves as did we! Alison so friendly and helpful. The Alpacas were just adorable - would have kidnapped one if we could of got him in the car!!

Our weekend break coincided with the mini beast from the east so we were not able to get out and about as much as we would have liked as the roads around the cottage were treacherous. However the cottage was superbly equipped and beautiful on the eye and very dog friendly. The owner was very welcoming.
