Perfect for a romantic retreat, Laburnum Annex provides an idyllic location from which to relax and enjoy the surrounding area.

There is an indescribable quality to Laburnum Annex, making it such a desirable property. Cosy and full of charm, this romantic bolt-hole, adjoining the owner’s home, is ideally situated for those looking to explore Northumberland. Open plan and thoughtfully furnished with your comfort in mind, the ground floor has a warm and welcoming ambiance, making it the perfect love nest. This bijou annexe really does make the most of a snug space and has been decorated with high attention to detail.

Cosy up in the living area and turn on the Freeview TV, warm your toes with the underfloor heating, and enjoy a relaxing evening in with your loved one. A romantic night in would not be complete without a slap up meal, which you can make in the well-equipped kitchen area. Although, if you prefer a night out rather than a night in, the local pub and restaurant are within walking distance. This wonderful area offers plenty of walking opportunities through the surrounding countryside, making it the ideal base to escape.
For lovers of history, there are ruins and castles nearby including the renowned Hadrian’s Wall only 3 miles away which makes an interesting day out for all ages. There is also an array of quaint villages and beaches nearby for you to discover.
Back at base, retire to the sumptuous double bedroom, where wooden beams adorn the sloping ceiling, and rest your head for the night after a long day of exploring. You’ll be sure to fall in love with this magnificent home from home.

Very nice annexe with all that we required for a mid week break, nice local pubs, close to Hexham and all visitor attraction. Plenty history, walks and things to do for all ages, plus only a short train ride into Newcastle. All in all very nice stay and would go back again.
