Lovely Cottage in a great location. Owners both attentive but not at all intrusive. Would definitely stay there again.

Recently returned from a months stay in this delightful cottage surrounded by spectacular gardens. Despite some cold rainy days we were warm & cosy. Our hosts Claire & Vaughan were most helpful & attentive to our needs. Such a wonderful welcome with fresh flowers & creamed teas each week. Truly memorable holiday in an idealic setting. .

Very pretty cottage, lovely garden tended by owners who lived in the main mill house. Claire and husband were friendly and helpful. Delicious cream tea awaited us on arrival. The only reservation we had was as it was an April stay it was a bit chilly, The cottage didn't really warm up until late evening. It may have been our fault as I,m sure the owners would have adjusted the timing of the heating had we asked.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you found so much to enjoy at Lower Mill Cottage but only wish that you had mentioned to us during your stay that you felt a bit chilly, so that we could have simply turned up the thermostat and made the Cottage nice a toasty for you. We live very close by and always ask our guests to contact us during their stay if they have any issues so that we can rectify them straight away.
