Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. North Cottage is very cosy, well equipped and in a wonderful location near to Westbere Lake. Good walks and near to Canterbury and Whitstable. Inglenook fireplace and logburning fire gave a perfect setting for a family christmas. Owner very welcoming. Dec 2011.
  2. Beautiful old cottage. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. Owner lives over the road and is helpful when needed. The pub opposite is certainly worth a visit! June 2011.
  3. The first floor of the cottage is excellent - homey and nicely done. The second and third floor bedrooms are not good. Access is very difficult for an older person (such as I). Area is fantastic and the owners are extremely helpful and friendly. Sept 2010.
  4. Plenty of room; nice big kitchen; good to have downstairs facilities for elderly/disabled; owner friendly and helpful. Aug 2010.
  5. A lovely character property with an attractive garden and good sitting out areas. Good location near Canterbury and very pretty village/ rural location. Owner across the road, very helpful but not intrusive. Aug 2010.
  6. Well equipped, comfortable, good linen. June 2010.
  7. Exactly as described. Very clean and well appointed. Felt like home from home!! May 2010.
  8. This accomodation is large, very comfortable cosy en very well equiped ! Our children liked the pool table very much We liked the lovely garden and the nice old house with all the 21 th century modern luxery (tv/dvd, central heating, washing machine, dishwasser etc). The owners were very friendly. We went twice to London by train (about 90 minutes)from Sturrey station. May 2010.
  9. Ideal for extended family, lovely sun trap patio with large garden for kids. April 2010.
  10. This cottage is a beautiful traditional cottage, but with modern comfortable furnishings. We felt at home immediately and the owner was helpful, available, but not intrusive. This property was new to the rental market, so we did not see any interior photos before we booked - it was a risk, but one that paid off as it’s one of the nicest cottages I’ve ever stayed in. All the equipment was new and fresh and everything was provided. Dec 2009.
