The cottage was clean, roomy and in a good location for a walking holiday. We found the cottage quite chilly during the day when the weather was cold and wet. Having no traditional cooker was an issue, not being used to convection, microwave combination. It is an ideal holiday cottage for a family of four with a dog; the large garden being enclosed and safe. Beds were very comfortable and bedrooms a good size. I would recommend this as a lovely cottage for the summer months, when the garden is at its best and evenings relaxing in the peaceful setting can be enjoyed.

Cosy, peaceful country cottage with great garden. Centrally located with most of the island within a 30 minute drive. Would recommend for a relaxing break.

This is a lovely country thatched cottage, with a beautiful cottage garden on 3 sides in a wonderful location. You have a good view of the countryside and sea view from the main bedroom and the garden. Although it is near a B road the traffic is sparse and doesn't affect the peace of the garden. If you have dogs with you they will love the garden and it really is secure for them. Jo the owner is very friendly and caring and happy to advise you on local attractions walks etc. If you like the countryside and old properties this is the one for you. We will be going back to stay again.

We stayed at Roseland Cottage for our honeymoon. It was the perfect cottage for us, with the garden being so big and private. We took our little Patterdale terrier 'Toby' with us, who absolutely loved the garden and wanted to stay out in it all day long. The weather was amazing so we were able to use the garden a lot, for relaxing, drinking & eating. the cottage has great character and has been renovated/maintained very well making it very comfortable to stay in. its also in a great location for exploring the island. we will definitely be coming back here again and would recommend it to anyone.
