Very nice property in a lovely, quiet location with a splendid view of the sea. All amenities of Scarborough are easily accessible. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished without being cluttered with nicknaks, making it very child friendly. The kitchen is really well equipped in terms of crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils etc. As with previous reviews, the hob and oven proved annoyingly difficult to use and resulted in a fair bit of frustration, particularly as a party of 4 adults (grandparent/parents) with a 3yr old and 1yr old twins, we were totally self catering during our stay. In addition the size of the refrigerator was surprisingly small for such a large property, and proved inadequate for our needs. Overall, in spite of this I would recommend this property.

Fabulous cottage with stunning view. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Well equipped. A previous review mentioned the wi fi. We had no problem with this. The cottage was wonderfully warm even in March. So warm, in fact, that we didn't have the pleasure of lighting the log burner. Our only issue was deciphering the oven instructions and by comments in the visitors book, we weren't the only ones who had trouble! Haven't given the local amenities a score of 10 as we weren't there long enough to really discover the area. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus. We had taken my 95 year old mum with us who has mobility problems. The downstairs bedroom and wet room met her needs adequately. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. We loved it.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The fire alarm went off three times which frightened our kids substantially, only due to making toasts or taking something out of the oven (without a lot of steam). It might be too sensitive.

Brilliant time at Scarborough Cottage - can highly recommend it. Only critisism is that the wi fi isn't strong enough to connect to a laptop - fine with the phone however.

The cottage was beautiful and perfect for our needs. One slight thing is the doors in the lounge needed cleaning but other than that it was lovely
