We just loved staying at the cottage - we couldn't think of anything that hadn't been thought of by the management. We will definitely be back.

The cottage was clean and welcoming. The area is very peaceful and the on site play area is ideal for families with young children. Scalby lodge is a great place as a base for your holiday it is a short car journey into Scarborough ( 10 mins) or a nice walk across the cliff tops. There is a family pub within a ten minute walk and a shop 15 mins away. This was our 3rd stay and apart from the changeable British weather we found it home from home and enjoyed our stay. The 3 cottages we stayed in were all as good as each other and would recommend to any one.

An idyllic cottage just off the coastline in a small complex. Well appointed, well maintained and well presented. Ticked all the boxes for our weekend away and provided more than we could use. The kids loved the playground on site and the beach and castle nearby, the adults the coastal walk and the grandparents the WiFi and wood burner. Would definitely got back without hesitation and could comfortably stay for longer.
