The setting was peaceful and relaxing; this was a good base to explore both Devon and Cornwall. The 3 cottage are in very close proximity to each other our neighbor had a very loud car which when starting was annoying but that was usually once a day for a few minutes. Lots of local sites to explore nice cafe in Hartland for a cream tea.

This is a beautifully sited cottage, remote and peaceful, on the Hartland peninsular. The cottage was clean, attractive and well-equipped. It would suit young people - or older people more mobile than myself! Sadly, I didn't realise just how many stairs and steps were involved and that created difficulties, so its many attractive features were offset by the problem of getting up and down stairs. That's not a criticism - just it wasn't right for me, and that's sad, because it's a lovely location and scenically beautiful area. It was also very end of season, so not always easy to get a meal out so some helpful tips on where to look for a good pub meal would be helpful to add to the information.

A very enjoyable holiday in a lovely cottage. The cottage facilities were well thought out, and the village of Hartland was within walking distance with everything there that was required.
