Located in Luccombe, this attractive holiday cottage is peacefully set amidst extensive gardens, and offers splendid views over the sea.

Set in a most tranquil area at the end of a very undulating track overlooking the sea, an ideal base for walking or traveling inland to see other places of interest, the living room is slightly spars with two very shabby settees, the kitchen is of a good layout with most everything you may require, is in need of a new dinner set. Dining room good. Bedroom excellent. Bathroom small , could do with a shelf and a mirror bye the sink. Outside a beautiful large garden with an equally large garage incorporating a washing machine and tumble dryer, a good space for walkers to dry there clothes if wet.

The location was idealic, quiet, peaceful & basically the cottage itself was comfortable & pleasant. The great disappointment was the lack of a proper shower enclosure. There is a bath with a shower attachment but this was impossible to use without soaking the bathroom floor. There were several pieces of equipment missing. No table mats, milk jug or butter dish, 4 dinner plates but 2 were chipped . The access to the cottage from the road was on a long unsurfaced track with a dreadful surface. This was hard on any car & passing an oncoming vehicle was impossible, which meant driving backwards & to the start & trying again.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. We do advertise in the property description there is no shower, it is a shower attachment so we are unsure as to why this was expected. Whilst there are no table mats, there is a cloth for the table. We don’t provide a milk jug or butter dish, we have not had any other guests mention this. Due to the location of the property, in a forest, access is via an unmade track and unfortunately it is something beyond our control.
