The Granary was a very comfortable place to stay ,we were made very welcome when we arrived and shown around , the views were wonderful from the lounge which is up stairs. The Granary was well equipped and there were plenty of radiators to it was always nice and warm. The dog was also made very welcome , it is also not far to drive to the A39 which takes you all along the North Devon and North Cornwall coast line . We would stay there again .

An excellent cottage with lovely owners who hit the right balance of being friendly without being over-bearing. Had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage.

Cottage was nice and clean, owner was very friendly and helpful. Would have preferred an enclosed outside space as my dog loves the freedom of going outside when she wants. Shower was very basic, would have preferred an actual over bath shower rather than a tap attachment. Overall a pleasant enough stay.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for taking the time to give us a review and we are really pleased you found the cottage clean and pleasant. Just to be clear for prospective guests, there is loads of outside space, with a private patio, a large farmyard and seventy acres of farmland to enjoy. The patio does have an open gateway to the yard but we haven’t had problems with dogs roaming too widely. And the shower is an over bath one, on an upright riser so you stand and shower in the normal way. The water flow is operated using the taps and is therefore really easy. We just don’t want people to get the impression its some sort of old-fashioned hose affair.
