Lovely cottage, perfect location and privacy. Problems: quality of the beds, and no wifi. We missed the overhead shower. Had a perfect stay, though.

The cottage is in a beautiful and secluded location, and with a lot of tlc and a good clean could be back to it's former glory. The oven billowed thick smoke when switched on. A pan had a layer of grease, and the cupboards were a jumble of saucepans, paint cans etc. Kitchen drawers were falling out. We had the impression that the cottage had been stocked with cast-offs eg one wine glass + other small glasses and one of the mugs had obviously been cracked for some time. The bathroom was grubby and the shelf below the mirror was littered with hair trimmings. The bedroom door was disintegrating at the bottom, making the room draughty. A note on the back of a used postcard and an Easter Egg (one month after Easter) was not a great welcome. We wouldn't go back.
