Duchally Country Estate is situated in the heart of the Perthshire countryside, just 2 miles from Gleneagles - home to one of the most magnificent and prestigious golf courses in the world.
Set in 27 acres, The Estate has fifty five luxury lodges within the grounds, all furnished, equipped and decorated to the highest standard with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Whether it is to take advantage of the enormous range of activities in the area or just enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Highlands, the lodges offer perfect holiday accommodation.
Guests at Duchally Country Estate can also enjoy the sumptuous leisure centre. Facilities include a heated swimming pool with adjacent children’s pool, a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna as well as a fully equipped and air conditioned gym. Qualified leisure centre staff are available for help and advice, with a rustic-style cafeteria offering drinks and light snacks.
Guests may also dine in the restaurant at the hotel subject to availability. The carefully prepared menus offer a generous selection of fine dishes featuring both meals with a strong Scottish influence and those with a truly international accent. The vast majority of the produce prepared in the kitchen is sourced locally in Perthshire and, wherever possible is certified as organic, traceable and freedom origin.
There are many outdoor activities available locally including an abundance of golf courses, an array of water sports including jet skiing, white water rafting, sailing on Loch Tay and riding the rapids at Grandtully including many centres that specialize in the necessary training. Fishing is also very popular with some of the finest trout lochs and salmon beats in Scotland only a short drive from the Estate.
Perthshire also boasts magnificent walking and cycling trails, as well as opportunities for all levels of walkers, ramblers and hikers to experience the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding countryside. Ben Lawers, Schiehallion and the Tarmachan Ridge are among the higher technically challenging mountain itineraries in the immediate vicinity.
