This is the perfect base from which to visit some of the main tourist venues in Wiltshire, with Longleat Safari Park and Avebury Stone Circle easily reached.
Nestled within the grounds of a Wiltshire farmhouse, once the old piggery, and now converted into two lovely holiday cottages. Orchard Cottage (ref UKC1103) and Willow Cottage (ref UKC1104) both have underfloor central heating throughout and a lovely wood burner to keep you warm on those winter nights. Nestled in a lovely rural setting with far reaching views over rolling countryside these attractive cottages make a cosy and very comfortable holiday base. Set on a farm, they lie within a short drive of the historic city of Bath. Walking through wildflower meadows, the Avebury Stone Circle, Castle Combe (reputed to be England’s prettiest village), Lacock Abbey, Longleat Safari Park, Bradford-on-Avon’s many antique shops and Swindon’s steam museum and outlet shopping are just some of the area’s many delights.
