Property Description

Fenn House is located in the pretty and historic village of Alvechurch. The house is a beautifully converted, beamed Victorian building on a former Victorian brickworks site. The village is famed for its perfectly preserved black and white buildings, which grew up around the Bishop of Worcester’s Palace. Saint Lawrence Church dates back to the 10th century. The surrounding area shows the English countryside at its best, with gently rolling fields, woodland, rivers and canals. There are country and canal footpaths with fine views and abundant wildlife to enjoy. Within walking distance is Alvechurch boatyard - an award-winning marina, where narrow boats can be hired.
The area boasts an abundance of National Trust properties, including Coughton Court, Hanbury Hall, Packwood House and Baddesly Clinton, all worth a visit. The holiday property is well located for Warwick, best known for its magnificent 14th-century castle, excellent shops, including antique, china and gift shops and museums.
Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon also boasts an impressive range of shops, restaurants, museums, theatres, superb riverside gardens and boating facilities. The NEC and Birmingham Airport are only twenty minutes’ drive away. Birmingham also offers a whole host of attractions, including excellent shopping centres, arts venues and nightlife. The Cotswolds are within easy driving distance, as well as the Malvern Hills, for wonderful walks. Golf and horse riding locally. Shops 1 mile, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.
