Experience endless coast, character and cream teas when you rent one of our luxury holiday cottages in Devon
With not one, but two coastlines, Devon is heaven for water sports lovers and a breath of fresh air for those who prefer to keep their feet on dry land.
For the perfect introduction, step out of your luxury holiday cottage and take a trip to the sleepy fishing villages of Lynmouth and Lynton in the North, or the glamour of the English Riviera in the South. Keep the children entertained at The Big Sheep, North Devon. Eat there or take a picnic lunch, and then in the afternoon sit on the Quay at Appledore and try your hand at crabbing. Even if you don’t catch any you can enjoy fish and chips from the popular Sylvester’s Fish and Chip shop and sit beside the Quay watching the sun go down. Alternatively, enjoy a cyclist breakfast at the Yarde Café on the Tarka Trail, and then cycle to Instow for evening dinner at one of the many lovely cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea. Bikes can be hired on the Tarka Trail.
