This is the fourth time we have hired Apple Tree Cottage and would still highly recommend. Any building of this age is bound to have small quirks and issues which need to be allowed for but these were minimal here and the plusses more than made up for them. An issue with the main entrance door mid-way through our break was addressed efficiently and in a friendly manner without encroaching on our holiday. Very relaxing either sitting in the well-kept garden with a book or in front of a proper fire in the evening and the area has some great walks. Only very slight gripe are the garden fences. Mostly fine and secure but there are still a couple of places where dogs can get out if they wanted (front hedge by the kitchen patio and then again right round the other side near the seating on the lawn behind some bushes - last time he ended up in next door's garden!) so we had to keep an extra eye on him this time round. Would definitely come back again.
