I managed to book a last-minute Monday-Friday booking and all was excellent, enhanced by the “welcome” goodies of wine, sour bread, local butter, milk and eggs. It nestled among the farm buildings and I could hear the cows and birds. There were friendly fellow holiday makers in the main farm house. Immediate impact was delightful: big sitting room with wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen and laundry room .a spotless shower room, 4 bedrooms and bathroom. Best of all was the safe walled garden which my little dog loved. Plenty to do in area: Ventnor Botanic gardens, Ventnor, walks, the Needles, the Military Road and Osborne house. Couldn't fit in an afternoon tea despite my efforts: will come back for! Many thanks to Our hostess. My little dog and I hope to be back!
