If you are seeking the perfect country manor, the very impressive and elegant Ashman’s Hall will delight. A large, Grade II* country manor house, it was built circa 1820 for Robert Rede with white brick and stone. Its fine elegance has been restored, and the property is approached by a long drive leading to electric gates, which offer first glance of this amazing hall. Entering through the large, four-column large entrance door you find yourself in a lobby with screen of two Doric columns flanked by arched recesses. Once you step inside you will marvel at the space and elegance of this property. Pass through the inner doors into the very impressive circular central hall with its domed roof. The sweeping bi-furcated imperial stone staircase, with wrought iron balustrade and mahogany handrail, leads up to the first floor viewing gallery with its four pairs of Ionic columns with arched recesses. All ground floor rooms are spacious and boast large sash windows with views of the large wrap-around, landscaped gardens. The spacious dining room is perfect to celebrate any special occasion. The music room has piano and wood burner, as well as comfortable sofas. There is also a drawing room and snug, both with wood burner, Smart TV and comfortable sofas. The circular morning room has a desk and offers a quiet space, perfect for essential home working. The large kitchen/breakfast room, with its large island, is well equipped to host any celebration, and opens onto the large decked seating terrace with hot tub and on through the large landscaped lawn gardens. Upstairs are seven spacious bedrooms, with mix of antique furniture and contemporary style comfort, also having mixture of en-suite bathrooms and shower rooms to delight larger family groups.
