The kitchen has been fitted to a high standard and it is well equipped with a range of contemporary appliances, so you can cook up a lovely romantic evening meal or a hearty breakfast to start the day. Retire to the spacious kingsize bedroom for a restful night’s sleep, ready to wake refreshed for a day of exploration. Back outside the patio area has a seating area beside the bubbling hot tub for al fresco dining. In your enclosed private garden you can unwind together, enjoying each other’s company and reminiscing over the days events. There are horses in the fields around you belonging to the owners. Your horse is welcome to join you on your holiday by prior arrangement. This is a great location for riding through the countryside.
You will be delighted by the variety of the scenery that you will encounter, from the golden sands of some of Britain’s finest beaches along with towering cliffs and roaring waves. Get the true English seaside experience by visiting the coastal town of Whitby. Or roam the miles of ancient forests, the infinity of pink and purple heather stretching as far as the eye can see over the hills and through the valleys and dales, the rugged coastline with the vast blue sea below and the wheeling seagulls above.
Whitby is just a 20-minute drive away, this seafaring coastal town has so much history. It has winding cobbled roads and hidden yards, boats bobbing along the harbour, a long stretch of beach stretching to the aptly named Sandsend all overlooked by the iconic Abbey. Discover the tales of smugglers, pirates, pioneers, vikings and even Dracula! For lovers of wildlife plan a visit to the seal colony at Ravenscar, or see the gannets, guillemots and puffins at the nature reserve at Bempton Cliff. Beach 3 miles. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
