The pillows need replacing, very lumpy and uncomfortable. Awkward getting in and out of the property, entrance right on a busy road. Had to get in the car all the time with 5 children I really wanted to be able to walk down to the water but this wasn't possible; no footpath and just too far to walk with a 3 year old. We had a on line shopping delivery from Sainsburys as there was nowhere within walking distance that was nice to eat, the pub opposite wasn't that pleasant. But I must say that the property was great really big and the garden lovely.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your review. We are sorry our location did not meet your specific needs. We supply two pillows per person, one firm and one soft to cover guests preferences. Buddleia is situated on the A379 , the house is at the end of a long driveway and the road is single file traffic outside the house. There is a speed limit of 20mph through out the village, it is not a fast section of road. There are walks from the property, along the estuary or through the countryside, neither are pushchair friendly. Our village only has a pub as detailed in our description other amenities are located 1/2 - 2 miles away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this superb house. It was very well equiped and the young children loved the toys and equipment in the garden. it even included some body boards for kids. The bathrooms were great and lots of hot water. We were three generations and all said they would like to return. We didn't feel the pictures did it justice as the lounge and kitchen are more spacious that they look in the photos. For future guests a word of advice is that the rubbish goes out on a Tuesday which we missed as we didn't read the info book early enough. There is an excellent tourist office in Salcombe but Salcombe itself is very busy in the summer and was not the best with little children though the beaches made up for that as they were varied and gorgeous

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your lovely comments, we are really pleased the house exceeded your expectations. We would just like to point out that there is also a very good Tourist Information Centre in Kingsbridge on the Quay; this is only two miles from the property.
