Coblye Barn was an absolute delight. Especially with a dog. My husband ended up working for 3 full days using the perfectly working internet, while I was able to stride out alone into the park, the surrounding woods, Darwell reservoir with the dog, then drive into Battle for some food and history. Bed was very comfortable, plenty of high pressure hot water, everything you need in a kitchen plus dog bowls. Easy communication with the owners.

My friend and I have just returned from our fifth annual visit to Coblye Barn. Obviously, that means we love the place and it is ideal for our needs. The setting is idyllic, the decor tasteful yet comfortable, and if you want peace and quiet , bar (baa!) the odd bleat of sheep and lambs,it is perfect. The only downside is complete lack of internet ( a blessing or a frustration) and poor phone signal. Also , the crockery /glassware is quite minimal. These are just minor moans about what is otherwise, a wonderful place to spend a short break.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments. The internet signal has just been upgraded however I will contact the supplier to make them aware of the issue. New crockery and glassware will be bought and added to the existing collection in the property.
