This beautiful detached cottage is in an ideal location for exploring the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Perfect for couples and a short walk to the town centre and harbour, this romantic and luxurious detached holiday home is exquisitely designed throughout in shabby chic style. The detached swimming pool (5 yards) is open from 1st May to 30th September with an all year round sauna for those chillier winter months. The attention to detail throughout, from the dressing gowns and luxury toiletries to the French style bed, will be a delight for couples. With Wi-Fi and a large TV the cottage is a lovely retreat even in the winter months. Set only a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and harbour in the popular small fishing town of Amble where you will find a great selection of pubs, restaurants, fish and chip shops and tea rooms, perfect if you fancy a drink and meal in one of the seafood restaurants. There is also a popular Sunday morning market and a little pod shopping area by the harbour. You can take a boat trip over to Coquet Island to see the RSPB bird sanctuary.
The picture postcard village of Warkworth with its hillside castle and selection of cafés and pubs with a couple of bespoke small shops, is around a 1½ mile walk but parking is free in this pretty village. A few miles further takes you to Alnwick with the majestic castle featured in Downton Abbey and used as part of Hogwarts in Harry Potter. The Duchess Water Gardens with spectacular grand cascade and the world’s largest treehouse restaurant should not be missed. Amble is set on the edge of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Heritage Coastline with miles of golden beaches and unspoilt coastline with plenty of cycle and foot paths. The property is ideally located for exploring the whole of this friendly county with everything you need already on your doorstep. Day trips to the National Park, Hadrian’s Wall or Newcastle are easily accessible from this ideal location. Beach ¾ mile. Shop and restaurant ½ mile, pub ¼ mile.
