A lovely quiet place to stay, good parking. Great cooking facilities with a lovely range cooker. Good modern TV. Downsides - very small bathroom with a rather nasty smell from septic tank (?) Only one small mirror in the bedroom, none elsewhere. Had a problem with ants in the kitchen area on and around the units during our stay. Must be a common problem as there was a tub of ant powder under the kitchen sink!

Wonderful place to stay. Peaceful, great views of the Tor and local countryside. We enjoyed watching the murmurations of the starlings. Looking forward to returning soon.

We loved the Dairy Barn, the setting was so quiet, peaceful and beautiful. There were lots of things to do nearby although as we were on New Wine we only managed to visit Glastonbury. The cottage was very clean and well equipped for self-catering and the conversion was very thoughtfully and tastefully done. The landlord and cleaning women were very helpful and we appreciated having milk, butter, bread etc on our arrival. Our only issue was the double bed which we found too small and rather uncomfortable. I also managed to get 3 bruises on my legs by bashing into the wooden edges covered by the douvet when accessing one side of the room. If there was a bigger and more comfortable bed we would certainly consider visiting again to explore the area more.

We absolutely loved Dairy Barn. The location was perfect; quiet and private but not isolated and within easy reach of interesting places to visit in this part of Somerset. We were lucky enough to visit during gorgeous weather and we very much enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and taking in the gorgeous view. We had taken our bicycles and particularly enjoyed cycling around the area as well as into Glastonbury. There are several good pubs nearby and we enjoyed evenings walking up the lane for a drink at The Greyhound, Baltonsborough. Dairy Barn has been beautifully renovated and the space inside has a lovely atmosphere. It was also spotlessly clean with thoughtful provisions left eg bread, butter, milk, cake, flowers. We were disappointed to leave and it is definitely a place we would plan a return visit to.
