Aptly named Ponycob Cottage is a lovingly restored, semi-detached, stone conversion with beams, nestled within the grounds of the owners’ 35-acre small-holding, amidst the peaceful sounds of rural life and overlooking a beautiful pond with ducks and other wildlife. It’s name comes from the Welsh for ’pony’; the larger Welsh cob which was historically used on the farm. The cosy, converted barn originally formed part of the grounds of Dolgoy Farm. The owners, who live adjacent to the property, have preserved features and history whilst providing contemporary amenities and comfort, and the cottage features its own private patio garden complete with private hot tub within these tranquil surroundings. It benefits from electric central heating and boasts underfloor heating in the bathroom and shower room. It also enjoys a cosy, welcoming wood-burning stove. Just 2 miles from the coast, enjoy a quiet relaxing break, cosy winter days by the wood-burning stove, walks along the coastal path, sample the village fare, or explore the wider delights of beautiful Cardigan Bay, whatever the season.
Two steps to living/dining room/kitchen with wood-burning stove. First floor: Double bedroom with 5ft bed, TV and en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. Double bedroom with 6ft bed, TV and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet (can also be accessed via external steps). Beams and wooden floors throughout.
