We stayed in the Granary for a whole week at the end of May, early June. The cottage was immaculately presented and was extremely comfortable and homely. Pete and Claire were not only very friendly but also extremely helpful, offering helpful advice and tips on places to visit. There was also lots of useful literature in the cottage about the local tourist attractions. We enjoyed walking along the coastal path from the waterfall at Speke’s Mill mouth to the Lighthouse at Hartland point, stopping off at Hartland Quay for food and drinks. We also had day trips to Appledore, Bude, Westward Ho! and Clovelly. The weather was spectacular so we were able to have breakfast outside in private, enclosed patio area The cottage itself was so comfortable and we enjoyed spending our evenings preparing meals and there were even BBQ facilities we used. I would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage and would love to go back and explore more of the area.
