Emma’s Barn is a beautiful single-storey stone barn oozing charm and character, and has been lovingly and tastefully furnished providing a cosy chic retreat for couples looking for that peaceful romantic break at any time of the year. The barn is tucked away up a long private lane in a secluded spot with amazing views to the coast. Quiet, scenic and just over 2 miles from the beautiful wide sandy beach at Sennen Cove. Nearby is the lovely square in St Just with three pubs all serving great food and local ales, alongside a selection of cafés and tea rooms, a delightful range of small individual shops including butchers, bakers, locally sourced fresh fruit and veg shop and several quality art galleries.

With easy access to the magical coastal paths with walks to Cape Cornwall and its dramatic views to the Longships Lighthouse and Land’s End. The famous Crown Mines are dotted along the cliff face at Botallack, reminding us of Cornwall’s past mining heritage. Nearby Land’s End airport offers daily flights to the beautiful Isles of Scilly, or alternatively there is a daily ferry service from Penzance. The location is perfect for exploring the many delights of West Cornwall and a short drive will lead you to the picturesque village and harbour of Mousehole, the fishing harbour and art centre of Newlyn or visit the magical Minack Theatre, an open-air theatre cut into the cliff face with Porthcurno Beach and the ocean as a back drop. A friendly welcome awaits guests at Emma’s Barn, and the cosy wood burner is perfect for snuggling up to on chilly winter nights.
The spacious living space with high apex ceiling and beams, travertine tiled floor and underfloor heating throughout incorporates an impressive sociable kitchen. French doors lead to the private terrace and extensive grounds, which open onto miles of moorland, great for wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers. To the front are uninterrupted views around the coast and out towards the Isles of Scilly, making it the ideal spot to star gaze or storm watch. After a long day, the gorgeous kingsize bed is perfect for cosying down into with quality bed linen, scrumptious fluffy towels, dressing gowns and slippers, ensuring that special boutique experience. Beach 2¼ miles. Shops, pubs and restaurants 2¼ miles.
