Estuary View is the perfect luxurious holiday retreat at any time of the year. This stunning, semi-detached house, set over four floors, has been totally remodelled in 2018 and enjoys breathtaking estuary views. Presented to a very high standard, with five en-suite bedrooms, it is perfect for anyone wanting a relaxing seaside escape. Bi-folding doors from the main living area open onto a sunny raised deck with a glass balustrade, the ideal spot to enjoy an al fresco supper and watch the sun set over the water. The lower ground floor games room will keep young and the young at heart happy, with a pool table, darts and table football. Or why not enjoy a game of table tennis on the lower patio?

Exmouth, Devon’s oldest seaside resort, has a busy little harbour to the west and high red cliffs with coastal paths to the east. Exmouth’s main attraction is the 2 miles of beach, and there is also the Exe Estuary, home to numerous species of wildlife and a favourite with birdwatchers. There are walks close by, including the Jurassic Coast with its stunning views. From the coastal path, you can experience sheer cliff faces and strangely eroded rock formations. Exmouth is the place for water sports, or why not enjoy a river cruise on the Exe Estuary with views of Starcross, Powderham Castle, Topsham and Lympstone. Exeter is a short train ride along the estuary with its historic cathedral and shops, it has plenty to do if the weather is a little dull, from shopping and bowling to indoor climbing and numerous museums. Golf, fishing and horse riding are available locally, and for family fun, Crealy Great Adventure Park and Go Ape Forest Adventure are close by. For a great day out, why not take a trip to Powderham Castle or the National Trust treasures of Castle Drogo and Killerton. There is first class cricket at Taunton, only a train ride away, as well as top flight rugby with the Chiefs in Exeter. Pamper yourself at Lympstone Manor, or just visit for afternoon tea or a Michelin starred dining experience. Beach 2 miles. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The house has wonderful views from the rear of the property, we were lucky with sunshine everyday and marvellous sunsets looking across the estuary. Really enjoyed our break. We were a family of 9 adults and used all the rooms. The house was warm, except for the games room, and the bedrooms were modern, clean and with lovely bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked. Locally there is a pub The Redwing which servers very good food and Lympstone Manor. Several other pubs a little further afield. The local villages of Lympstone, Exton and Topsham are well worth a visit. The downside is that this property is on the main road with 2 of the bedrooms looking out that way. A little noise at night. Also difficult to manoeuvre cars in and out. The main bedroom has a free standing bath in the bedroom looking over the views. We thought it would have been better to have 2 comfy chairs to sit in.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks for staying and we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry you found the games room a little chilly. We had an electric radiator in the house to help with this so I hope you found that OK. Because of your comment we have now put a second electric radiator in there to help in the winter months so thanks for your comment as it helps us improve where we can.

Beautiful property, considering it has five bedrooms and accommodates 10 people you can all have your own space. Our only concern was the busy road and a little awkward to get onto. Otherwise perfect.
