Stone built and full of character, it provides attractive, warm and comfortable accommodation, benefiting from private parking and outside space.Excellent walking trails, climbing and cycling routes can be enjoyed, with the Manifold Valley, Dovedale, The Roaches, High Peak and Tissington Trail all close by. Butterton village itself has a good pub serving food. For those who enjoy a coffee in a pavement café and a browse of the local shops, the Peak District towns of Ashbourne, Buxton, Bakewell and Leek are easily accessible in around 30 minutes. Chatsworth House, with a year round calendar full of events, can be reached in around 45 minutes, and for thrill seekers, Alton Towers is just a 20-minute drive.This charming cottage really does make the ideal base to do as much or as little as you like. Bed linen and towels are provided, with a bath towel per guest and hand towels and a bath mat in the bathroom.Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.This property can be booked together with Fenns Barn (REEF) to accommodate upto 14 guests.
