The peaceful location, abundance of wildlife, and the footpath straight from the grounds into the countryside will make this a favourite for many to enjoy.

These superb, semi-detached luxury barn conversions, Boot Room (UK34849) and Tack Room (UK34850) enjoy views down to the lake and woods behind. Sympathetically renovated, they retain as many original features as possible, and ooze comfort and quality. They offer open plan living on the ground floor with tiled floors and a lovely wood burner for cosy nights in after a day exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds. Two double bedrooms with kingsize beds and each with their own en-suite shower room will make these popular with couples and families alike who are after a peaceful relaxing break away from it all. Outside you have your own patio and enclosed lawn garden where you can sit back and enjoy the view to the lake and woodland behind. Lily Pad Lodge (UK10956) is a stunning, semi-detached holiday cottage, adjacent to the owners’ home, nestles in beautiful grounds abundant with birds and wildlife. Sit back and relax in front of the wood burner, or sink into the bubbles of your very own hot tub.
Nestling in the owners’ beautiful grounds abundant with birds and wildlife, these properties have footpath access from the grounds which leads onto a bridle path and on to the village of Donington-on-Bain, with its tearoom, post office, village shop and pub for refreshments.
Lincoln is approximately 30 minutes’ drive away, with its cathedral and castle, just two of the many attractions on offer for all the family. To the east are the sandy beaches of the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, and the market towns of Horncastle and Louth are also just a short drive away. The Boot Room has been a lovely base from which to explore Lincolnshire with remains of its former use intact and beautifully restored. Unique, attractive, comfortable and well-equipped with quality furnishings, comfy beds and lovely shower/wc en-suites. Surrounded by beautiful countryside - walks from the door. We were awoken to an amazing variety of birdsong each day - wonderful. The roads are amazing in this part of Lincolnshire, we travelled around with ease and pleasure, even those connecting each small hamlet/village were wide and well-kept. Few traffic lights and roundabouts - such enjoyable motoring. We can recommend Tattershall Castle, Gunby Hall, Belton House - a fantastic place for children and dogs, we spent a full day there - amazing adventure playground for the younger ones. Dogs allowed even in the formal gardens. Lincoln - of course - another full day's visit. Beautiful cathedral and very interesting castle. Dogs allowed in cathedral but not castle (except on certain days - when court not in use). We were close to some lovely beaches too. Huttoft beach late afternoon with a picnic and blanket was wonderful. Thank you Lisa and Tom for a warm welcome and the lovely wine, chocolates, flowers etc. Close by if needed, but never intrusive. We were so sorry to leave. Would come back in a heartbeat. Can highly recommend.
