Once inside, you will not be disappointed as it offers a kitchen with all you need, a cosy living area with two comfy sofas and a wonderful bedroom featuring a stunning four-poster bed and large feature windows to let the daylight flood in.Bakewell’s Hidden Treasure (ref UKC4128) is located on the ground floor which is great for convenience. On entering, the living area has a sofa, chair and a TV/DVD player, the ideal place to relax in after a busy day exploring the Peaks and local area. The bedroom feature large windows which let the light in, as well as a four-poster bed. There is also a small sitting-out area in which to enjoy your morning coffee.Bakewell’s Little Secret (ref UKC4129) is on the second floor and features a fabulous kingsize bedroom with Georgian sash windows. The bathroom has a contemporary tiled finish, with a window sear and a luxurious roll-top bath with claw feet and a rain shower over.Chatsworth Suite (ref UKC4130) is thought to have originally been the parlour of the house and is on the first floor. It has two kingsize bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities, with the master room having an impressive bathroom with a modern freestanding bath and separate shower. The second bedroom has a smaller en-suite which has a green, energy saving toilet with a basin above to help save space. The comfortable living room boasts a feature fireplace and French doors leading to a small, stone balcony overlooking a courtyard.Bakewell is a vibrant, attractive market town retaining a delightful rural atmosphere. There is an old, 17th-century market hall and a modern leisure centre with a swimming pool. The River Wye runs through the centre providing opportunities for relaxing by the water’s edge and enjoying riverside walks.Situated within the Peak District National Park, you are ideally places to explore this beautiful region. Both the rugged Dark Peak and the softer, limestone White Peak are within easy reach. Nearby, you will find a selection of stately homes to visit, such as the magical Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall. The Monsal Trail provides visitors with a traffic-free route for walkers and cyclists straight through to Buxton, where you will find the impressive, Edwardian Opera House, designed by Frank Matcham.
