This stunning property with its own games room is a great for exploring the East Midlands and the Peak District National Park.

Grange Lea is a wonderful, spacious and stylish detached property built in 1790 and was originally the head gardeners accommodation for Donington Hall. This wonderful property sits in half an acre of landscaped gardens with a wonderful seating out area for guests to use. The property offers four large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living room with separate dining room. The well-equipped, beautifully crafted kitchen with its granite worktops and range would be any budding chefs dream! Outside there is a terrace area so you can relax and enjoy the evenings in the stunning secluded garden, and you even have the benefit of a separate detached games room with pool table and TV.

Perfectly located in the East Midlands, this is a great base for exploring the area. Close to the village of Castle Donington, just a few miles from Derby and with the Peak District also nearby, you will not be lost for things to do in the area. Why not visit The National Trust’s Calke Abbey, a historic house within 600 acres of nature reserve, which is close by? Another place worth visiting is Staunton Harold Reservoir with its yacht club and children’s activity centre. You could not have a better location for Donington Park Circuit which hosts many major motorcycle and racing events, as well as the yearly Download festival.

On the edge of a National Forest, you have direct access to a wealth of beautiful countryside to enjoy right from the doorstep, so is an ideal base for walking and cycling. Travel just a little further and you are in the Peak District National Park with its historic houses such as Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, as well as the towns of Bakewell, Matlock and Matlock Bath where you will be overwhelmed at the coffee shops, restaurants, markets and shops to enjoy. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
