We really enjoyed our stay at Heather Cottage. The property was cosy and full of character, with a nice big garden for our dog to safely roam in. The bedding was of a high standard, and the roll top bath by the window, with its wonderful views was marvelous. The property was immaculately clean and well appointed, although the wi fi coverage was poor and at times non existent. Whilst we pretty much had all we needed during our stay, additional cups ( only 4 supplied) would've been useful, when tose supplied were in the dishwasher! A washing machine wouldve been a useful addition, particularly for walkers etc. Owners did offer use of their own machine, but self contained facilities would be preferable. The property is quite remote, and local facilities were several miles away. A bonus for some, but perhaps not others! Overall the property was great and we have no complaints. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and our comments above are merely pedantic feedback!

We have been "cottaging" for more than 20 years from locations as far as North Wales to the most northerly point of the Scottish mainland but this cottage has been the best so far. The only thing that was missing was a washing machine!
