On the farm guests are welcome to walk up and see the animals, which including chickens, horses and ponies and a small flock of sheep grazing in the fields. Each property has a personal sitting out area at the front, in addition to tables and chairs on the orchard. There is also a bicycle store, barbecue and croquet set. The village of Martin is set in the Cranborne Chase and West Wilshire Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and offers excellent scenic walks and cycle rides from the farm. The village has its own small community-run shop which opens twice a day on week days (9am-11am and 5pm-6pm) and once in the morning on Saturdays (9am-12.30pm) as well as an historic Norman church. The New Forest National Park boundary is a picturesque drive of around 6 miles and Godshill always has lots of New Forest ponies and cattle to enjoy. Fordingbridge is known for its famous medieval stone bridge with its fine arches; it boasts plenty of shops, pubs and cafés and there are excellent walks along the river.
