Despite dire weather warnings we had a lovely week. The cottage was truly a home from home with everything you could need . The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Having a private parking space was also a bonsai. The outside decking area is great ,making what could otherwise be an inaccessible garden very user friendly. Lovely to be able to sit outside listening to the stream and birds, and good facilities to be able to eat outdoors too. Our first port of call on arrival was the Boscastle Farm Shop (as always!!). Excellent food and wonderful views if able to sit outside. Trebarwith Strand and St. Nectans Glen also places not to be missed. We discovered the Rebel cinema in Bude on one of the more inclement days which is a lovely hidden gem, very traditional, making a lovely change to some overpriced modern chains!!! Also a big thumbs up to The National Trust who now actually allow dogs into their coffee shop in Boscastle.
