Lower Netherdowns is an amazing home, we had a fabulous Christmas with our family. Where to start, the house is superb on every level, a real home from home. The thought that has gone into providing everything you could wish for. The kitchen is beautiful and wonderful to prepare and cook in, we had some amazing feasts over the festive season. The kitchen/dining/lounge area is a real sociable space and all 7 of our party really enjoyed the wood burner during our stay. The bedrooms are all beautiful with lots of thought going into each space, all benefitting from their own en-suite. The conservatory/games room is a valuable additional space for the larger family group, housing an extremely comfortable double sofa bed along with a games console for our younger guests (the youngest being teenage - but never got a ‘look in!!!) The outside space is exceptional and we can imagine in the spring/summer months could be enjoyed to its fullest potential, however, as it was extremely mild during our stay, we were able to utilise also! The ever changing scenery/wildlife/people on the river makes for fabulous viewing, the amount of different wildlife that visited was amazing - even managed to see my very first Kingfisher, actually in its natural habitat!! The walks available from the doorstep are lovely, the pub in the village is well worth a visit. The local people are extremely friendly and welcoming. If we could rate this property higher than a 10, then we would most definitely. Thankyou for sharing your beautiful home with us.
