These three properties, renovated in 2019, are situated on the edge of the quiet, secluded village of Middleton-by-Youlgreave in rolling countryside above the River Bradford and are approached via a single track road.The Farmhouse (ref UKC4133) is an impressive and delightful Grade II listed, detached farmhouse in a courtyard setting, overlooking the surrounding Derbyshire countryside. Great love, care and attention has gone into making it a memorable place to spend your break with family and friends. The large dining area boasts an open fire, and its farmhouse kitchen has an electric Aga. There is a also a lovely large, bright and airy conservatory area overlooking the stunning countryside. The ground floor also has two kingsize bedrooms and a shower room. Upstairs are a further five bedrooms, each with their own unique character and style.Lowfield Dairy (ref UKC4132) is a stunning, stone-built barn conversion and offers a large open plan living area, complete with a large wood burner and underfloor heating. Its kitchen offers Neff cooking appliances. All of the well-appointed bedrooms have their own theme, with the luxury of en-suite facilities. Outside is a hot tub with a wonderful patio area and seating to enjoy al fresco evenings together.Lowfield Cottage (ref UKC4131) is a perfect, cosy, stone-built barn conversion. Semi-detached, it offers an open plan living area with a perfectly formed kitchen, along with a wood burner to relax in front of. The bedroom sleeps three people, and has a kingsize bed and a single bed, along with an en-suite bathroom. Outside is a patio area with seating, where you can enjoy al fresco evenings together.All of the properties have use of 15 acres of landscaped and natural gardens leading to footpaths to explore. Guests can relax in the orchard, taking in the stunning uninterrupted views, or enjoy a spot of birdwatching. Minimal light pollution in the area allows wonderful viewing of the night sky and you will be able to stargaze over a glass of wine in the evening!The village has an old square and a very pretty village green with a World War II memorial. Its slightly larger neighbour, Youlgreave, is a lovely village offering a pub and stores, and was once the centre of Derbyshire’s lead mining industry. Nearby you will find Bakewell, a wonderful market town, extremely popular with visitors and offering shops, restaurants and tea rooms, as well as a frequent farmers’ market and weekly local market. The area is well situated within the Peak District National Park and is ideally placed for both walkers and cyclists to explore the traffic-free Tissington and Monsal Trails nearby. A short drive away is Alton Towers, Britain’s premier theme park, along with many stately homes to explore, including Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Both these stately homes are within walking distance of Lowfields Farm, if you fancy a longer walk! This really is the most wonderful place for a family get-together, with a real feeling of country living for guests at any time of the year. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 28 guests.
