We received a very warm welcome, which was lovely after a long journey. The apartment is absolutely stunning and finished to a high standard. The owners have done a fabulous job in restoring this home and it felt like a home-from-home not a holiday property. The Gardens are extensive and it was great to be able to walk around with the dog. I imagine the gardens look spectacular in summer, when all the flowers are out in bloom. My only criticism is that it would have been nice to have milk in the fridge so you could sit and enjoy the property with a cup of tea as soon as you arrive.
