Netherley Hall Estate is the ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts, and in particularly for lovers of horses and ponies. This 700-acre family-run farm specialises in breeding racehorse and show ponies, and the surrounding countryside has wonderful woodland walks, and panoramic views. This listed, black and white house, is full of character, built in 1610 and restored, using oak timber from the estate, and with antique pieces of furniture. The comfortable living room has beams, many windows - including a stone-leaded church window. It’s a great place for relaxing in the evening, with its comfortable sofas and wood-burning stove in inglenook fireplace. For quieter moments the snug is ideal, with its beams and TV, just the place to curl up with a good book. The spacious dining room is full of character, with antique furniture, flag floor, old door and lathe feature. While the spacious kitchen is a delight, with its solid oak units, granite worktops and double gas Aga. The bedrooms are all cosy and warm, with fluffy pillows and duvets, perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep. Take in the summer sun in the large lawned garden, and try your hand at a game of tennis on the shared court.
