Great cottage in a rural location. It was brilliant watching the fireworks on New Years Eve from the balcony. Sheila (owner) was very welcoming and hospitable and we loved Munch the cat visiting us. Bude is close by and is a lovely little town with some fab places to eat and drink. Cottage is charming, log burner was great and the kitchen was modern and has all the equipment you would need. However the bathroom (whilst perfectly functional) and some soft furnishings were looking a bit tired. We had an amazing time and would happily stay there again.

We were very impressed with cottage it was clean modern yet homely as well Sheila the proprietor was very friendly and welcoming Unfortunately the weather was against us the remains of a hurricane blowing in But despite this we still found plenty to do The local beaches brilliant And if you have a dog there welcome everywhere I highly recommend Duck House Oxendale farm

Very warm welcome on arrival. Lovely place to stay, had everything we needed. Great base for the family and plenty of walks for the dogs.

Situated on a narrow quiet lane about a couple of miles inland, the upstairs living space gives a commanding view of the countryside, though farm buildings in the foreground limit the amount of sea visible. It proved a good base for exploring the locality, and for coastal walks (followed by a cream tea!). We were welcomed warmly and hosted well by the owner. A lovely holiday.
