Park House is a beautiful detached 1930s house set in a wonderful location with far reaching views over the picturesque countryside. Situated adjacent to the owner’s home on the Isle of Wight with its abundance of natural heritage and interesting places to visit, this is a perfect destination for a family holiday.
Here you can make the most of the summer months with a lovely enclosed garden decked with ornate statues, a raised fishpond, and two sitting out areas. From the garden, guests can enjoy wonderful views of Carisbrooke Castle and the countryside trimmed with woodland and hedgerows. Imagine returning home in the evening with a few samples of local produce and dining alfresco on the balcony. With two 10ft picture windows in the living area and a beautiful spacious conservatory, you can appreciate the views whatever the weather. If you decide to spend the evening indoors, the living area is handsomely furnished and decorated with a feature antique fireplace. If you wish to dine in style, the dining area has a dark wood dining suite where you can enjoy an evening meal. The traditional farmhouse style kitchen is well-equipped and has an additional dining area making this ideal for the larger family.
The rest of the house is just as immaculate. There are four bedrooms, each one individually decorated and styled. Both double bedrooms enjoy views over the countryside. The bathroom has a white suite trimmed with gold accessories and is decorated with marble effect tiles.
When you are ready to explore the area, there are many places of interest including Osborne House, which was the former residence of Queen Victoria, and the medieval Carisbrooke Castle, which is literally on the doorstep. The National Trust offers numerous guided walks, and trails which you can follow in your own time. There is also fishing and golf nearby.
