Stylishly decorated, the spacious living room with comfortable furnishings invites you to curl up around the wood burner and enjoy quality time with your family or friends. With a Smart TV and Netflix package, you can sit back and be entertained. The contemporary farmhouse style kitchen is a bright and airy space with a dining area and all the modern appliances and kitchen accessories you will need.
Upstairs are three beautifully furnished bedrooms, all with super kingsize beds, one of which is zip and link and can be twin beds on request. With attractive accessories, sumptuous soft furnishings, crisp bedding and luxury toiletries, you’ll soon relax and unwind and feel pampered. To the rear of the cottage is a lawned garden fully equipped with garden furniture, a barbecue and firepit. Imagine starting the day eating breakfast al fresco listening to the birds in the quietness of the countryside or pushing out the barbecue at the end of the day and rustling up a feast!

For the outdoor enthusiasts, Reeth is perfect for enjoying anything outdoors. The wild, rugged and varied scenery provides miles of walks, with low-level, gentle strolls along the river, and more challenging walks with high mountains and valleys lined with streams. There are endless footpaths where you can enjoy spectacular scenery. The owners can also provide you with many Ordnance Survey maps. The area is increasingly popular with cyclists and there are many bridleways too. The ‘Swale Trail’ runs from nearby Grinton to Keld and is ideal for families. The Dales Bike Centre is just down the road at Grinton which offers cycle hire, and they also have an excellent café where you can enjoy a piece of cake before setting off on your ride. The cottage is within easy strolling distance of a selection of pubs and restaurants, so no need to go far – a perfect way to relax after an adventurous day and enjoy good local ales and traditional food.

The historic town of Richmond, famous for its castle, Georgian theatre and abundance of individual shops and tea rooms, is around 30 minutes’ drive. In the opposite direction is Barnard Castle, which can also be reached in 30 minutes, and has a market, cafés, antique shops and the famous Bowes Museum. The Forbidden Corner in Middleham is 13 miles away in Wensleydale, and is hugely popular with families. It is a quirky venue with its labyrinth of caves, folly and underground caverns. Picturesque Aysgarth Falls and Castle Bolton are en-route with many other pretty picture postcard villages as you pass through. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
