We loved it here. The property is spacious and facilities, furnishings and decor are all five star. The garden is very relaxing especially with the sound of the trickling river right alongside the house. Hearing the steam train every now and then was fun. Wifi was good - important for a 15 year old. Plenty to do - Dunster village and castle are very close by and not to be missed. Lynmouth and Lynton are definately worth a trip too. The rolling country side and sea views along the coastal roads are breathtaking. There are not many properties that we would visit again but this is definitely one of them.

Second stay at this lovely cottage, hasn't changed a bit in 4 years, thankfully ! Cannot fault anything really, spacious rooms, lovely garden and a fantastically equipped kitchen. Log fire didn't really light up the room as the glass is so black, but hardly a complaint ! Garden and river absolutely beautiful. Locally great pubs, lovely walks and scenery everywhere to inspire. Everything is within a few miles of each other, so all in all a fantastic place to have a break.

Riverside Cottage was the perfect bolthole for us in Somerset. A beautiful cottage that was a haven of tranquility and warmth. Thank you so much for letting us spend Christmas there. It was amazing.
